Top 10 Myths about Weight Loss

We all want to be fit, healthy and slim so we can try all the clothes we like. There are some simple myths about weight loss and we are going to see them now. Follow this simple steps and keep in mind, you will lose your weight easily.


Here are the top 10 Myths about Weight Loss:


#1. Eat in Time:

Never skip your Breakfast. Have Breakfast around 8.30 AM to 9 AM, lunch around 1 PM and finish your dinner by 8.30.  Not having breakfast in time will help you put on weight.

#2. Drink Water:


Keep a water bottle with you always. Drink water according to your weight. You must drink 1 litre for every 20 Kg. For example, if you weigh 50 Kg. You must drink 2 and half litre per day.

#3. Drink water before meals:

If you don't have control on what you are eating, try drinking water before you eat. You will feel that you ate full soon and you will eat less.

#4. Green Tea:


Drinking six Glasses of Green tea a day will help you burn calories soon. Atleast drink two glass of Green tea a day.

#5. Exercise:

Exercise daily for 20 -30 minutes, which is to burn your calories or take a walk for 1 hour daily. You will feel light everyday you exercise. Psychology says when people practice a new habit in their life routine, people are most likely to discontinue the habit on the four days. But if they continue for 20 days, they will succeed in adding the new habit to their life routine.

#6. Small steps:

Do simple works on the work like take stairs rather than taking lift. When you change one channel on the television get up and keep the remote in one corner of the room. So every time you want to change channel or control volume get up and do it. Keep water bottle away from you but should be visible, whenever you feel like drinking water get up and drink.

#7. Healthy Diet:


Eat Boiled chicken than Fried chicken. Add more vegetables and fruits to your Diet. Eat fruits instead of drinking Juices.

#8. Routine:

Stick to your Diet routine whatever happens. Plan everything before hand. Watch your Calorie intake. Eat less Calorie foods and do work to burn more Calorie.

#9. Drink water for stomach fat:

 Drink water after 20 minutes of every meals, to reduce bloating on your stomach.

#10. Play like a kid:

Practice any outdoor games you prefer, join some yoga, aerobics or sports classes. Buy a 5$ ball and play. You can wall practice using Ball and bat by throwing balls on the walls and playing.

Top 10 ways to lose weight :)

Though am not fat, but I have friends who are fat and they find it very difficult to manage themselves. Here are some top 10 ways I know to make yourself shed weight.

1. Start your day with breakfast:-
Never ever skip your breakfast. "Eat like a king in the morning, eat like a prince for the lunch and eat like a beggar in the night". Eat a healthy diet for your breakfast with cereals, fruits, vegetables and milk.

2. Cut down your junk food:-
Eating junk food has been scientifically proved to cause obesity due to high content of saturate fat. It is difficult for our body metabolism to break down the junk food. Junk food is always rich in heavy cholesterol.

3. Daily exercise:-
Hitting a gym is not the mantra for reducing weight, but you can also shed weight if you keep up a routine exercise consisting of cycling, swimming, walking, jogging, and sit ups.

4. Drink plenty of water:-
Do not drink soda or soft drinks when you feel thirsty. Keep a bottle of water when you hang outdoors. Drink at-least 6 to 7 glass of water.

5. Sleep:-
Rest plays an important portion in the process of weight loss. You need to sleep a maximum of 8 hours daily.

6. Cut down food outside:-
Reduce the food intake from your neighbourhood. Prepare your own dish at home and have them.

7. Listen to music and dance to the tune:-
Listening to music is always good to your soul and mind. When you consider to dance to the tune of the music you are actually shedding some calories.

8. Reduce adult beverages:-
Always keep in mind that alcohol is a source of calories. You might have seen many people, who drink a lot of beer look fat. Some alcoholic beverages are equal to having a rich creamy dessert.

9. Eat fruits and vegetable:-
Fruits and vegetable contain detoxifying agent and anti-oxidants to control your body fat. Vegetable and fruits rich in fibre actually clean up your stomach.

10. Eat more often:-
Do not hog all your food at a time and go without food for hours together. Have food 5 small meals daily. Never skip meals and go on a fasting spree.
